hello and sorry for my english....

I have a question about successor's list : (antigonos)
I don't see a great number of phalangits pike, just two units and most of cavalry (5 units), and after having read books about the successor's period (armies of the macedonian and punic wars....), I see the predominance of infantery on the cavalry, as example : antigonid armie
antigonos versus alketas : 40.000 foot and 7.000 horse
antigonos versus Arrhidaios : 60.000 foot and 10.000 horse
antigonos versus Eumenes : 28.000 foot 11.000 horse 65 elephants. (16.000 phalangists;, 9.000 mercenaries ;some of them peltasts)
Could you re-equilibre the list or not ?

thanks
nikko

Hello Nikko,
well foot also included FL or S, so at the moment we can say the Antigonos is 50% foot and 50% cavalry.
The problem with BI lists is to try to reppresent most kind of troops present and with combined army like the ellenistic there is the risk to have few of each.

One possible option could be to change 1CM+1CL for 2 more Pikes. This seems reasonable.
