Hi - I am thinking of running a basic Impetus fun competition in
North London, we could also do some Impetus games as well on the side
if anyone wants:
PEWC (our unofficial home for WJ bods) is planning on running a BASIC
IMPETUS fun competition in North London (Enfield) probably in late
May or early June (8th June looking good). This will take place on a Sunday and be open to
any 'official' Basic Impetus list (off the web site). We will be
working mainly in 15 and 10mm but if there are enough 28mm players
then we can go with that too. We have room for approx 20 gamers and
the cost is likely to be about £5 each. The venue is 5 minutes drive
from the M25 (junction 25) and is 5 minutes walk away from a mainline
train station (Brimsdown) served from London Liverpool street. There
is no near by undeground station really.
We have chosen Basic Impetus because:
It is fast (approx 40-60 minute games)
It is free and available to everyone and you need very few
figures/bases, dowload it from
http://www.dadiepiombo.com/basic2.html
It is very easy to learn and play
It is fun
You can use either DBx basing or WMA basing on 'sabot' bases or just
by moving the bases
There will be prizes for:
Best General
Best Army
Best piece of scenery (prize from Baueda)
and a few other 'novelty' awards.
So if anyone is interested in theory please register your interest by
mailing me at
rich@rebelpublishing.net
Indicate scale of army and what it is, include the army list volume
number.
I look forward to seeing you
