 14th century Irish list?

I was wondering when we might see a medieval Irish list (1300 onward). I am painting Corvus Belli for HYW English, and I have enough models (Irish Kern, Hobilars) to make a substantial start on a medieval Irish army I think. I was thinking something like (and I'm no historian)

CM(*) x 1: lord and retinue
CL x 2: Irish light horse? javelin ability?
FP x 1 or 2: Galloglaighs... impetous?
FL x ?: Irish Kerns of some kind or another... javelin ability?
S x ?: Skirmishing kerns with javelin or short bow

Again, I'm now historian, but I would like to turn my partial collection into an adversary for the English I am painting, and so seduce the rest of my gaming group into the game Smile I'm sure there's lots of room to challenge and change the numbers, or to present options as with other lists.

hello Jet, this is a good imput Very Happy
I work at your suggestion and I will publish Basic lists for both Irish and Edoard I armies by the end of next week.

I should be able to include with the next update also Seleucid and Avars.

Thanks for the swift reply.

I was wondering , would it possible, using options, to create a raiding variety of the Irish army - one that would include FL, CL, and S, and leave everything else out? i.e. no galloglaighs or heavier infantry or cavalry?

In any event, I look forward to seeing the lists. In the meantime, I am painting 15mm longbowmen a handfull at a time,

Yeah. I guess something loosely like...

CM(*) x 1: lord and retinue
CL x 2: Irish light horse? javelin ability?
FP x 1: Galloglaighs... impetous?
FL x 2: Irish Kerns of some kind or another... javelin ability?
T x 1: short bow
S x 2: Skirmishing kerns with javelin or short bow

Option 1: swap CM(*) for CL(*)
Option 2: swap FP for FL

or some means to leave all the heavier stuff behind. As I wrote earlier, I'm no medieval Irish historian, so take my opinions with a grain of salt.

I also thought there might be room for:

option 3: swap 1 T for 1 FP

I have made some research but an Irish without FP Galloglaighs would be like a Roman army without legionaries.

Of course I could work out an unoficial "scenario " list

As I said, I'm no medieval Irish historian. I trust your judgement.
