Just wanted to check something.

Though it's not explictly stated in the rules, if a unit of Skirmishers is dispersed as a result of being charged, do they count as routed/destroyed for victory points?

Are all skirmishers dispersed when charged and not in difficult terrain and other conditions as described in 7.8. I'm thinking of non-missile armed S such as Swiss Halberdiers (I=3), Spanish Sword and Buckler (I=3) and Landsknecht Doppelsoldner (I=3). If they can't shoot and are dispersed in contact, I'm not sure what they do! Can they only charge the enemy (page 12) but can't stand being charged? I'm sure I am missing something!

these are the Doppelsoldner of the Italian Wars and similar troops. Their unique role was to create confusion within the enemy pike square. They were armed with a big 2 hands sword or halberd and their task was to cut pikes and legs. They were paid the double for this (doppelsolder means double pay, but in many case it was a punishment).

In other words they were unable to stand a charge from formed troops.

From a tactical point of view you can use to charge other S or the enemy Pike square before your pike square charge in.
And like all S they can evade.

So unless the list says differently, they are dispersed like all S.
