Lists on the book are just generic lists to start to play. They are enough detailed but could be improved when the specific booklets will be out.
For example the 100YW lists are generic for all the war, while in the booklet will be divided according to periods.

The name of this booklets (supplements) will be EXTRA IMPETUS and will contain army lists + some special features.

EXTRA IMPETUS, Issue 1, will be out by september and will feature 3 periods:
1) Pharaohs Wars
2) The 100 Year Wars
3) The Great Italian Wars

Each period will include an historical background (for the whole period), several lists + special features (and of course pictures).
For example the Great Italian Wars will include a campaign game for Pavia 1525.

The booklet will also include a section called "Tutorial" dedicated to more clarifications and examples or to tactics.
Also errata discovered so far will be included.

The philosophy is that the gamer don't need to wait the specific book of lists with his favorite army to play. The web will provide an increasing number of lists in a more fast way.
For those who have no access to web, magazine like Dadi&Piombo but also other publications, will provide the printed version of these lists.

At the same time EXTRA IMPETUS will provide constant support to the game.
At this stage we are planning EXTRA IMPETUS issue 2, that could be out between December and January. The poll helps us to select periods with more interested. Very Happy

Thanks- I just realised if I'd scrolled down from the poll I would have got my answer.

it could be around 15-16 euros, but depend on final number of pages. Free postage with pre-order.

I think this is fundamental. A good tutorial is better than 1.000.000 words!!! Very Happy. I know that dadiepiombo wants to edit it as a printed book to earn money, but I think a public "free" tutorial on this website would be a sure success. Any intention to do that?

2) The 100 Year Wars

I think I'll be saving my 15mm 100 yrs war models for December. When this period is fleshed out, I think it will make for some interesting lists.

I'm leaning towards Scots, mainly because the pike men would look great clumped together on their big bases.
Cue arrow storm!
Actually do I really want to paint that many pike men?

I will officially post probably tomorrow in the web site, but I can anticipate here that from this week it will be possibile to preorder the Supplement 1.
The cost will be 15 euros and the shipping cost (actually a contribute) will be 2 euros fro Europe, 3 euros for outside Europe.
By pre-ordering you will save the postage.

Pre order should be made to dadiepiombo@libero.it before November 10.

Release date (of the Englih version) will be around November 15-16.
