Here in Italy the main diferences between an italian Basic Impetus player and a DBM one are three:

1 - He is not interested in sumo style battles.
2 - He is not forced to commit a bank robbery to buy a new army
3 - He is not forced to forget all he learned in school to combat an "Sea peoples vs Late mecodonian" battle...

Is the same in your countries?
I forgot to add other differences (surely, but some of them cannot be written without to risk a civil action...)?
