Since the last time i have use this list, the list have change, more FP and less Chariot (CGP) and also the VDT (lower). The CGP have lost the possibility of fire with various weapons and they are the only chariots which can't fire. Can you explain why?
Thanks. Pascal.

sadly because they didn't fire. Also in the first version there were too many chariots and to few infantry. The reduced VDT is just a consequence of the reduncing the number of chariots.

I own a Micenean army so I understand that from a gaming point of view this may not sound "an improvement", but this is a more "real" version.

Anyway it is still a good army with a very good infantry and supporting chariots. Less offensive but not easy do defeat.

Hi

Please can you tell me why the Mycenaean chariots are classed as heavy and not light? I understood that they were light chariots, just that the warriors were heavily armoured.

they have been classed as "heavy" due to their tactical role: shock troops.
Note that they move the same U than a Light Chariot, as the chariots were actually of a lighter type. So the only difference is that they wheel at maximum 45° (and not up to 90°). They are somewhat an hybrid.
