 A question on impetuous troops

Hello,

only a check related to a game we had the other day with Davide, macedonians vs carthaginians.

The rules say that impetuous troops get out of control if there are visible enemies within 30u.
This means that if I make a screen of skirmishers which blocks my line of sight with the enemy I am safe from the impetuous effect, right? (clearly this lasts only until the screen is destroyed)

No, actually you ignore all your friendly troop in front of you, for example you can have a T unit that can be crossed by your impetuous knights (like French did sometimes during 100YW).
So enemy troops can be hidden only by
1) terrain features
2) they are behind your frontage or in a BUA
3) other enemy troops with the exception of S
