So what happened in this exemple the unit who can not finish is movement of retreat is destroy ? or there is a new fight ?

Hi Sebastien

If the retreating Unit meets friendly troops (it cannot cross) then these are pushed back and disordered but no losses are applied.

If you cannot push back the friendly Unit (for example because it is in melee) then you stop retreating when you meet this Unit.
This gives more chances to your enemy to reach you (pursuit movement) and have another melee.
If you cannot retreat at all, the melee continues as it can finish only when there is not a defeated Unit.

Don't forget also tgis rule:
Unless they are S or CL the routed unit (not the disordered Unit as wrongly reported in the English version) disorders and inflicts 1 permanent loss to the Units behind it with the exception of Units that took part in the melee (for example a rear rank of a pike block).

Let me know if it is clear.

See you at Toutatis (hope to see there a lot of French players)

Hi Seb, ok now I understand Idea . Well it depends if you meet the enemy front or another part. If you meet the front another melee will start. If the previous enemy reaches you than probably he is the Main Unit and the one you have met the supporting one (of course you have to see case by case according to the rules).

If you met the flank or the the rear (with your rear, btw you are recoiling) then the Unit you met just will stop you. If the previous Unit contacts you again, then another melee occours and you cannot recoil more. So if he wins he automatically reaches you (even if there is no real movement by both Units) and another melee will occour. If he doesn't reach you then the melee is ended.

As for the French translation it would be very helpfull. This would permit to publish the French version of Impetus within the year, maybe within the summer. The question is do you need the English version for the translation or can you translate from Italian?
