Hi Lorenzo

I had a cosmetic question about how you suggest the basing of cavalry in 15mm. how come you went for 2 ranks where as with larger scales you suggest only 1?

Just curious. For me I am using 2 DBx stands of cavalry or Psiloi and 4 of all other types of infantry. For my Gauls, I am thinking of using 6 stands to give that huge warband look.

Hi John, this was the old basing. Now I have uniformed all cavalry to 2 "ranks".
Actually depth is more a question of visual choice, so gamers should be consider themlself free to adopt the depth that satisfy better.

The reason for less depth (=less figures) in 28mm was just an economical consideration. In 28mm if you use the big base you can place few figures in depth. But if you use DBx bases, well it may be too expensive.

As for your warabands you may be happy to know that in the updated version of Basic Impetus (that will be released as soon as Impetus will take his way
Very Happy ) they can form deeper Units like Pike Blocks (see amendments).

Hi Lorenzo,

Sounds good. Looking forward to the "big warband" rules. I'll refrain from making large sabot stands then. Very Happy
