Sono molto felice per tutto ciò che avete in programma per Extra impetus, ma mi manca qualcosa di più scenari, che gli elementi non sono sempre un impatto frontale, attaccare una città, assaltano una roulotte, ecc ... |

YEs, I agree with Nagash. It's true that 90% of medieval and ancient battles were frontal combats, but I think that some aspects of the battles could be improved with some kind of stages. As there are in FOW, or Warhammer ancients... |

well soon or later a Siege Supplement will be released (but not to attack a roulotte that in Italian is http://www.supercaravan.it/images/noleggio-roulotte.jpg
Also further rules for fortifications will be issued in the future, but anyway Impetus is intended for ancient/medieval field battles, while FOW is WW2 and also at company level, where a house is a house and a tree a tree. |

Sounds Good.
The question of strategy came in our game last night - what is the object of the battle? I guess that this is down to the gamers - 500 points a side can get boring quickly.
The answer is either a campaign - which we have planned for later in the year - or unbalanced scenarios. 300 pts vs 500 pts, but the large army starts in march column on a road. Or the smaller army is entrenched.
For different objectives in ancient battles there could be:
- destroy the enemy army
- kill the enemy commander
- capture a town or road or bridge
- anything else? |

There are a lot of variables that can be used:
Ambushes
Reinforcements.
Traitors... |

the supplement dedicated to siege will contain siege rules (grand tactical level) as well as assault on fortifications, bridges, breeches etc (more tactical level) |

the layout of the Italian version will be completed this week end.
I guess it should be out just after Rome Eurocup.
Most of the contents has been already translated or are under translation so the English version should follow in a couple of week. |

this is my plan, but much depends on the translator and on the printer. Should this be not possible the release will be shifted by the end of August.
I will keep you updated.
Soon it will be possible to preorder and save the postage costs. |

How is the translating going?
I'm painting my late crusade force and can't wait for the list so I can make sure I'm painting the right stuff. Plus order any extra models I need. I would like to use this list for Derby. |
