The subject line says it all. The HYW French list includes these as an entry. I was pondering using the Corvus Belli mounted archers and treating them as crossbows in the rules. I really like the models.

However, I was wondering if anyone makes a mounted crossbowmen that would be fitting for this period, and that would fit in with the scale of the CB models.

Thanks in advance,
JET

pictures from Essex web site don't make justice. The figs are nice, in my opinion.

Lorenzo,

In your experience, how do the essex cavalry figures stand up next to the Corvus Belli models?

easier to show

Essex are more stubby, but in my opinion they can work together. It is very hard to have a perfect compatibility within 15mm scale, but on different bases you wouldn't notice the difference.

Note that the mtd crossbowmen I suggest you are for XV Cent. If you want to make a late 14th army you should take another code that are more for XIII-XIV Century. Corvus Belli figures are borderline (late XIV to around 1415-1420).[/img]
