I'm doing a spanish translation of the BOF manual.

i think i can make the full translation before thursday but there are a few words that i don't understand

here goes first: WIND WHALES

what are exactly WIND WHALES?

perhaps a whale can fly?

I assumed they are like giant kites, they are a "generic" type not a specific actual model so I think you could translate them as you want.
Possibly "velas de cometa"?

The important part of that classification is the difference between floating and flying. These float (low altitude).

I am pleased you are working on a Spanish version, I did start one, but my Spanish is woeful so I gave up on it. I have some friends here (Canarias) who will be very pleased to see it though.

i think i'll bypass the definition on the spanish translation, my intention it's to make it the more readable i can, soi think its better not to include the kites, for the moment.

I translated floating as aerial, in spanish something that floats it's over the water and something aerial it's over the earth, on the sky. there's a difference between aerial and flying, they look similar but they are not the same.

just comment it on your group and tell me what you think.

or, if you want, you can wait two or tree days until i finish the first attemp of translate.

Exactly. They are just an archetipal unit. We wanted to make difference between units that fly free like birds and those like baloons, zeppelins, flying boats and so on.
