Can anyone please help me with the rule about skirmishers foll0wing heavier troops that pass through them? Do they turn if necessary and then attach themselves to the rear of the passing through unit? (Rule 5.7) Thanks.

they keep their original front. If you can cross enterely leave them where they are. If you start crossing them but cannot interpenetrate completely, then take the S and attach it on the shoulder of the crossing Unit.

I presume that such an "attachment" is NOT permanent like the pike behind pike one is. Is this correct?
